The Dallas Video Festival's 24 Hour Video Race took place over May 13-14, 2005. 88 teams comprised of video pros and amateurs of all ages took on the mission of creating a 5-minute video in a straight 24 hours, using a surprise theme, prop, location and line of dialogue. A fun time ensued and 75 teams crossed the finish line on time. All videos were screened and judged the following week, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded in each team category. Stay tuned--in May 2006, rivals will get another chance to even the score, and North Texas will get another demonstration of the talent and creative energy of our film and video makers!

The 2005 Video Race is Over! Many groups crossed the finish line with some fantastic entries, but only the best walked away with the prize.
