The UTD Cinematheque is a collaborative effort by VAD, and UTD A&H/SUAAB. Curated by VAD and hosted by Bart Weiss, the UTD Cinematheque is a monthly screening series designed to bring Texas filmmaking and great independent video in general to UTD's campus and to the N. Dallas community.

The Cinematheque will screen a film every first Wed. of the month followed by an in-depth Q&A with the filmmaker in an intimate setting.

The event is not only designed to help small films find their audience, but to also act as a place for conversation and community open to all who are interested in independent film and video and independent perspectives in general.
